Skate Canada Test and Competitive Programs

Calalta offers instruction in:
  • Preliminary to Gold Freeskate and Dance Tests
  • Levels 1-7 Skating Skills Tests
  • Competitive Test in Singles, Dance and Pairs
Prerequisite for registration in the Skate Canada Program:
  • the skater must have passed level 6 or Proficiency CanSkate badge or
  • a coach's evaluation recommends that the skater move into the Skate Canada Test/Competitive Program
Lessons and Instruction:
Private instruction is offered through any of the Calalta Coaching Staff (click here for more info). Coaching fees are administered by the coaches to the skaters directly.
 
 
Membership Fee and Ice Costs:
Paid once yearly per skater family for the period September 1 - August 31. Fees are due upon registration at the rates outlined. See online registration package, or contact Natalie at the Calalta office (245-2425) for more information.

AdultSkate

Adult skating is growing in popularity and Calalta offers recreational, test, competitive and synchronized skating opportunities to this segment of the population.

At Calalta, adults can learn to skate, figure skate, ice dance, join our adult synchronized team and/or train for the Adult championships all in a fun and social environment.
