| Two new programs for this season: |

| FALL/WINTER CANSKATE PROGRAM |
- Preschool Skate - 30 minute non-parented class designed for 3 to 5 yr olds who are new to skating.
- CanSkate - group lessons learning how to skate. Skaters learn basic skating skills needed for hockey, ringette,
figure skating or recreational skating. (Badges 1-4) Wednesday 4-5 pm, Saturday 9:30-10:30 am and 4:00–5:00 pm
- Group STARSkate - group lessons learning the basics of figure skating. Skaters are introduced to the four
disciplines of figure skating; freeskating, ice dancing, skating skills and interpretive skating. (Badges 5 and up)
Fall program will be Saturday mornings 10:30 – 11:45 and include 15 minutes of stroking.
- Junior Prep Program - group lessons with some individual skating time where skaters learn the basics of
figure skating and are introduced to the four disciplines of figure skating; freeskating, ice dancing, skating
skills and interpretive skating. Fall programs will run Tuesday and Thursday (2X a week) from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
- Synchronized Skating for CanSkate - 30 minute Canskate lesson followed by 30 minutes of synchronized
skating. There will be a year end performance at West Hillhurst Skating Extravaganza. Costume fees are extra (about $60).
Program will run Saturday 4-5 pm.
- Registration will be on line at www.calalta.net in June for fall/winter 2009/2010.
